Hmmmmm....
The things that make a ducky go Hmmmm....
I must admit, the bill of a rubber duck was never designed to promote the singing of a song or the holding of a tune. Rubber duck bills are made for quacking... and that is what I can do best!
Oh, don't get me wrong... the Christmas Quack album is coming along quite nicely, but my quacker has to be in perfect tune or what comes out is just a loud, off-key, QUAAAAACK... which doesn't seem too appealing to those listening for the finer points of music.
I think I'm going to splurge and buy myself some angel figurines to try and raise my spirits. I've been "down in the ducks" lately-- and some heavenly angels gracing this place would be just the thing to inspire me.
Oh well... enough of that... Back to practicing my do-ray-me's...
Have a quacker,

Haaaa....
Time sure flies when you're a rubber duck!
You would expect time to just waddle around, but time doesn't have webbing between the toes like us ducks do. In fact, I've never see the feet of time-- have you?
Regardless, another week has passed and things are progressing along. I don't believe the ground hog, as I expect the crocus buds to start popping up any day now.
Oooops--- gotta run, time for my 'beauty bath'... keeps my quacker in line!

Whew,
It's great to be home again! FINALLY!
While most rubber ducks were enjoying the week in the tub, this rubber ducky was spending the week in the hospital!
Would you believe that during my recording session last Monday I developed a hoarse-quack. Now, most rubber ducks would just go on about life and live with the hoarse-quack, in hopes that it would mend itself over time. That would have been fine with me if I wasn't starting a quacking career with this new CD project. I had to get the best surgeons in the area to help and mend my quacker quickly. Every day of delay will cause my CD to be late for next years Christmas season.
Thankfully, I caught the hoarse-quack early, and it was only a minor surgical procedure to put this rubber duck back on track. My doctor was so impressed with my recovery, he bought me a pair of pig figurines for good luck. Apparently where he comes from pigs are good luck.
Well, it's time to rest my weary bill and put these webbed feet up on some pillows. Regular work starts again in the morning.
Have a quacker!

Oh My God!
Where did the weekend go!
Superbowl is over.... my team did NOT win... oh well, perhaps next year!
This week should be busy--- with luck I'll knock off two of the songs from my Rubber Ducky Christmas CD... This is turning out to be one big project. A bit more than this ducky would have expected... it's stretching my rubber patience to the limit.
Late nights and early mornings seem to be the routine lately. Well, I guess that's to be expected when you live in the 'loud quackin' lane.
