The Ugly Rubber Duckling

Winter is here. Brrrr...

Time to get out my ducky winter clothes! I need a new hat, but I'm having problems finding them in rubber duck sizes. How ducky, this rubber duck is going shopping! Ducky!

I was talking with a friend the other day who told me that in some parts of the world there are stores that have signs prohibiting ducks from shopping. "No Rubber Ducks Allowed" hanging outside various merchants. Can you imagine that? I can't. I guess there's parts of the world where rubber ducks just are not appreciated. Where people think that levity and humor are bad and should be prohibited. Scroogeville.

Thank heavens I've never lived in an area where they discriminate against rubber ducks... that would not be very ducky at all!

So.. off to go shopping... perhaps some holiday gifts might come home with me too...
